#7045 Official "Getting Started" Mini-Guide

I need some guidance ... I have much trouble finding a way to get a proper supply of food ... how many can you expect a farm is able to supply and how do you make sure that the farm is producing?

 

At the beginning it's enough to build single farm somewhere near carrots, fill it with workers and select carrots to harvest them. Don't know for sure how much single farm can handle, but later on you can upgrade it. Just watch food in the resources bar(at start it may increase very slowly as all carrots must gathered and be planted first), if it's starts to drop, build more farms, assign more workers or upgrade one.

 

Also make sure there's water source available so farms can be watered.

Well, source code itself isn't required, there are some decompilers, however that's would be even more work to do.

I don't think more farmers speed growing, it's just that more food can be harvested and planted at the same time.

Upgrades increases how much food you can grow and how much storage farm has.

Also if I remember correctly harvest speed means "pull out of ground" speed.

I would love to see ships and fishermans. Also it would be cool to have decorative objects for the village. I agree 101%.

Hello! I've enjoyed this game very much so far.

 

However, I wanted to make some changes to the values in game, so I made the mistake of trying to make some minor changes to some buildings. After two days, all I got was a healthy fear of Java and useless decompiled code.

 

Since it has been said that the source code should be released to modders at some point, could I know about when that is?

 

In what way you were trying to change these values? Recompiling code or using reflections?
