hey, not bad, I like it. ;)

If you want a really crisp preview of the map, there's a copy of the minimap image in your map's folder:
DragonissersmapFull.png

Although right now my minimap writer doesn't account for map sizes, eventually it'll detect (and trim) the blackspace. It just assumes all the maps are "large".

I've messed around with that before and it turns out editing the thumbnails do NOT edit the map, damn why did you have to save it in a format that isn't editable :C

Thanks alot ^^ With the minimap. It wouldnt be that hard, to check if the map size is medium and just make a smaller file :P But i dont write the code so yeah xD

Well, actually on a coding standpoint all maps are the same size, when you create a new one you're just pregenerating a general size you want to start with. Technically if you really wanted to you could just go full in all the space and make it as large as a large map.

So from a coding standpoint I actually have to detect the outer most edges and trim from there. It's not a big deal to code actually, I just really low on the priority list. :)

Is there any other possibilty to get a good map in the game without backing 30$?.

Btw.what happends if it will be not funded? Will you try it again or will you stop(that would be horrible ;_; )?

If I don't get funded, the game will get made regardless (Might just take a little longer).

As for the map thing, over the course of development and after release I'll probably kidnap the best of the best maps and put them in the game, with their permission of course. :)

Just out of curiosity, why would it be slower?

Seems like my map doesn't work anymore in the newer builds. I probably need to redo it, so be prepared for a newer version ^^

The newer image looks so much nicer, being that it's not just solid colour. Anyway, looks fantastic.
