[InDev 26d | Win 10] Crash on outlands

I got the game for my wife and she's getting a crash in the middle of being attacked and now anytime she loads up the game and when going into the outlands where she was playing she gets a crash with the log below. Here is a link to the map data found in. Any help is appreciated. I don't mind modifying files for her.

based on the error I thought maybe if I removed AI_COMBAT_BUILDINGS entries from Outlands.mobData that might work but I got a different error

The Windows 8.1/10 thing is just some Java weirdness I see occasionally. I'm not sure why it's doing that, but Java itself is reporting the wrong OS. Although it's harmless.

 

As for your crash, it looks like a villager/monster is trying to attack something it can't actually reach. I may be able to fix the save if you have the original before you edited the mobData file, if you upload it to the server. (Profile menu -> Arrow button -> Dev Request -> Upload)

 

If you're not too worried about your save, this crash is already on my fix list, and I hope to prevent the problem next patch. :)

Thanks so much for the reply. I wanted to follow up with you. My wife started a new world b/c she is enjoying the game so much. She told me that every time she starts over she gets better so she wasn't too upset or anything. I also figured it could help you fix bugs but that's great you already are aware and working on a fix. The steam reviews don't lie. You are definitely a developer that cares about your game.

Hopefully I'll be able to hammer out this crash by the next patch. Luckily it's not too terribly game breaking (beyond the obvious crash). It would ironically actually be easier to fix if it was, but at least it isn't corrupting people's save data.
