[InDev 24 U4 / Windows] - Crash when loading map

- Java 1.8.0_111-b14
- i7-6700K CPU

- 32 GB RAM

- GTX 1080 GPU

The game crashes every time I try to load Greenham in Survival mode. Greenham is the only place where I've built anything, and I am able to load other regions, but trying to then load Greenham just crashes the game to desktop.

Hmm, I'll poke around. Looks like it is trying to load a resource into memory that no longer exists!

Try as I might, I can't seem to duplicate this crash.

 

Do you happen to still have the profile with the corrupted map? If so, could you upload your /profiles/ folder to somewhere like dropbox?

I'm Having the same issue. Rather disappointing :( All my work was in one village. I noticed it couldn't load limbo villagers. I didn't put any in limbo...

I'm Having the same issue. Rather disappointing :( All my work was in one village. I noticed it couldn't load limbo villagers. I didn't put any in limbo...

So some more information.....

 

I started a new profile. Played again for a long time last night. I made it to day 16. Started getting over run really really bad....Just about had all the buildings just couldn't rebuild defense for the evening onslaught. Had 60 ppl and a ton of resources. Began sending everything to limbo that i could. I managed to get 39 of my villagers to limbo. YAY. Everything completely destroyed...... Tons of resources scattered all over..

 

We started another region with the villagers I brought all of them in. I build the camp, and began building the basics. Setup lumber yard, mill, bower and miner. I also just finished building 4 farms. I was on day 2 or three.  and was falling asleep on my desk. I saved and exited.

 

This morning when i wake up and load the save my new village just has the camp with 4 villagers... My old village is magically back with 39 villagers and crashes out about 4 seconds after entering it. by the looks of the map before entering it is quite dated as far as the buildings that I had.

Thanks for uploading the profile, helped me isolate the problem much faster. :)

I've fixed the bug, you'll see it implemented in the next patch (InDev 24d) :)
